Low headlining Summer Nostos Festival, June 27th!

March 05 2019

When the poster children of low-tempo rock for the past 25 years, Low, released their latest album, Double Negative, last September, UNCUT ranked it as the number one album of 2018.

The band from Duluth, Minnesota, was formed in 1993 by Alan Sparhawk (vocals and guitar) and Mimi Parker (vocals and drums), partners in music and in life. Today, Steve Garrington (bass) completes the trio.

Double Negative has received outstanding reviews, reaffirming that Low’s choice to keep experimenting and constantly redefine their sound proves instrumental to their long success in the international music scene. “Double Negative didn’t sound like anything else, in Low’s back catalogue or beyond,” says Alexis Petridis of The Guardian.

2019 finds the band in the middle of their world tour, with scheduled performances at premier music festivals, like Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Porto.

Just a few days later, on Thursday, June 27th, Low will visit Athens as one of the headliners of this year’s Summer Nostos Festival.
